Hospital Information

Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS) is state of art 133 bedded fully equipped with medical facilities. It renders access to health care to over a Million poor people of Jacobabad and neighbouring districts of Sindh and Balochistan province to seek the health services from OPD and IPD.

BACKGROUND

Mrs Hillary Dian Rodham Clinton Ex-Secretary of State and Senator visited Jacobabad in 2010, during rain flood emergency and on the request of notables of District Jacobabad, she announced the construction of the hospital at Jacobabad as a gift from people of USA. Later on, in 2011, USAID coordinated with Government of Sindh and planned to construct 133 bedded hospital. The Ground Breaking Ceremony held on Feb 12, 2013, and the handing over ceremony held on 6th April, 2016.

Energized with 630 KV through SEPCO with Backup support 88KW Solar with 12 and 4 hours backup and 03 generators 400 KV.
Air-conditioning CCU, ICU, NICU and OT through 62 tons chillers and temperature maintained bulk medical store, Pharmacies of OPD, IPD  and inventory store.
